Description
Edder Innnes is an early 19th century single-storey, three-bay cottage located on Cadgers Road in Kingston. The building features clay and boulder walling with a lime-washed exterior. The central door is obscured by a small later porch, and the windows have 12-pane glazing. There are end stacks and a corrugated-iron roof.
Inside, the condition is poor but there are notable features, including an interesting carved and painted coat of arms displayed in a shaped mural plaque with a raised and moulded border above the fireplace in the west room. Additionally, there is a box bed alcove in one of the rooms.
