Description

66-68 High Street in Elgin is a mid-19th century, three-storey corner building featuring two bays on both High Street and Commerce Street. It has a shallow, recessed canted bay at the angle. The High Street side has a modern shop front, while the first and second storeys are finished in ashlar with rusticated quoins. The windows on the High Street have moulded architraves and are corniced at the first floor. The building is topped with a modillioned cornice and a blocking course, and it has corniced end stacks and a piended slate roof.
