Description
This building, located at 9 Patrol Place in Portknockie, dates from around 1800 and was originally a 2-storey, 4-bay warehouse that has since been converted into Fisherman's Hall. The exterior features modern harling, although some tooled rubble dressings are still visible. The long elevations on the east and west sides include two windows and two vents on the ground floor of the east side, while the west side has a door and three vents. The first floor displays a regular pattern of three windows. The entrance on the north gable is concealed by a sliding door, and there is an entrance on the south gable that leads to the first floor, accessed by a tooled ashlar forestair. The building has coped end stacks and a slate roof.
