Description

Later 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay house. Tooled sandstone ashlar. Base course; band course between ground and 1st floors. Quoin strips.

NE (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: recessed modern door centred at ground. Windows in remaining bays at ground, and in bays at 1st floor.

SE ELEVATION: 2-bay gable, later addition of rendered forestair to left; windows in bays at 1st floor; door to outer left at 1st floor; windows in NE and SE faces of addition.

SW (REAR) ELEVATION: not seen, 1999.

NW ELEVATION: obscured by adjoining building.

INTERIOR: not seen, 1999.

BOUNDARY WALL: low, coped wall to street, with modern decorative metal railings.

Predominantly plate glass timber sash and case windows. Grey slate roof, with lead ridge; pair of modern skylights. Cast-iron rainwater goods. Gablehead stacks; coped, with circular cans.
