Description

Mid to later 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay symmetrical classical villa. Coursed polished sandstone. Base course; band course between floors; eaves course.

SW (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: advanced pilastered and corniced doorpiece at centre, former 2-leaf 4-panel timber door, now single door with 2-pane fanlight. Windows flanking and to each bay at 1st floor.

SE AND NW ELEVATIONS: random rubble, blank.

NE (REAR) ELEVATION: not seen, 1999.

12-pane timber sash and case windows. Grey slate piended roof. Cast-iron rainwater goods. Coped ashlar wallhead stack at NW elevation; coped, rendered and lined wallhead stack at SE elevation; with hexagonal cans.

INTERIOR: not seen, 1999.

BOUNDARY WALLS AND GATEPIER: low coursed ashlar boundary walls at street, with saddleback copes, railings missing. Ashlar boundary wall with semicircular coping to NW, swept down to SW, terminating in ashlar gatepier, with shallow pyramidal cap.
