Description

Early-earlier 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay house, with later 2-storey addition to N. Squared and snecked rubble; ashlar dressings. Eaves course. Chamfered margins. Droved rybats.

E (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: door (No 46 Ironmills Road) with 5-pane strip fanlight at centre of original 3 bays; door (No 44 Ironmills Road) with 2-pane fanlight in left bay of recessed addition to right. Regularly disposed fenestration at ground and 1st floors, square windows at 1st floor.

S ELEVATION: narrow one-and-a-half storey gabled porch to left on blank gable, adjoining wing linking Iron Mill (see separate listing) to S; door on right return, with 4-pane strip fanlight.

N ELEVATION: blank. Garden wall adjoined at cente.

W ELEVATION: 5-bay, fenestrated.

Sash and case windows; 16-pane glazing pattern to house, 12-pane glazing pattern to addition. Coped skews. gablehead stacks. Grey slates.
