Description
The kennels at Arniston House date from the early 19th century and are a single-storey structure with a rectangular plan, featuring six bays. The building is constructed of random rubble with long and short droved quoins.
On the east elevation, there are six doorways; three on the left lead to individual pens and are set within cement-faced coped walls that have simple later steel railings. The wall is painted white. To the right, there are three boarded timber doors, and this section of the wall is faced with cement. The roof has six rooflights.
The south, west, and north elevations are blank. The roof is covered with graded grey slate and has a lead ridge, with droved ashlar skews and cast iron rainwater goods.
