Description
The building is a single-storey, four-bay gabled kennel, likely dating from the early 19th century. It features low, flat coped rubble sandstone walls and has iron railings that create enclosed runs on the west and east sides. The structure is constructed from squared and coursed whinstone rubble with sandstone dressings. The south elevation, which serves as the entrance, has a pedimented ashlar portico with shouldered openings. There are gable stacks, and the roof is made of corrugated metal.
