West Parish Church, Huntly Street, Inverness

West Parish Church, located on Huntly Street in Inverness, was built in 1840 and is designed in a classical style using ashlar stone. The church features two storeys and a three-bay front, with a prominent central section that has a pediment and a giant distyle in-antis Ionic order. The flanking sections are constructed of rubble and consist of six bays, with the fifth bay being advanced to create a transeptal feature that encloses a gallery stair. At the west end of the church, there is a square-plan tower made of rubble, topped with an ashlar parapet that is adorned with urns and an octagonal ogee-roofed belfry. The interior is plain and has been re-seated and renovated around 1895, and it features modern stained glass windows.
