Description

Early 19th century, single storey over raised basement, 3 bays

double pile dwelling with substantial mid or later 19th century extensions to rear (west). Harled with ashlar dressings. Centre

entrance (east elevation) approached by flight of steps

over-sailing raised basement; cast-iron hand rails; semi-

circular porch with entablature supported by 4 Roman Doric

columns and flanked by bowed bays rising from basement.

Single window in each storey of each bow; hoodmoulds to 1st

floor windows; band course at ground level. 2 storey

crenellated wing to rear; later crenellated parapet links gable

ends and stacks; slate roof, curved over bows.

Enriched plaster ceilings within.
