Description
Havelock House Hotel is an earlier 19th century L-plan house that stands two storeys high with an attic, featuring three bays on each arm of the L. The exterior is harled with painted margins. The main entrance is located at the centre of the Crescent Road facade, flanked by canted windows on the ground floor. Each elevation has two canted dormers, and there are stacks at both ends and on the ridge. The roof is slate and piended at an angle. An ornate seven-bay cast-iron loggia extends the full length of the ground floor on the southeast elevation, complete with glazed and gabled end bays. There is a low coped rubble garden wall surrounding the property. A single-storey modern extension has been added to the northwest gable.
