Description
Glebeview is a pair of early 19th century houses located at 8 Bath Street in Nairn. These two-storey and attic houses each feature three bays with central doors and are connected by a low wall that has paired entrances leading to the service area. The buildings are constructed of ashlar stone with polished ashlar dressings, while the gables are made of rubble. They have rusticated quoins and pilastered doorpieces that support double-leaf panelled doors. The windows are architraved, with those on the ground floor adorned with cornices. Additional architectural details include an eaves band, cornice, and blocking course. Each house has two canted dormers, panelled end stacks, and roofs made of West Highland slate. The property is further enhanced by low coped garden walls.
