Description
Old Manse in Acharacle is a single-storey manse designed by Thomas Telford in 1829. It has a shallow H-plan layout with five bays. The exterior is harled with painted tooled margins. The northeast front features a central door, and the projecting outer bays are present at both the front and rear, with the rear bays infilled. The windows have 2-pane glazing, and the building has a piended slate roof with a single ridge stack, as the second stack has been removed. A simple drystone wall encloses the garden.
