Description
The Church of Scotland Manse in Strathconon was designed by Thomas Telford in 1830. This single-storey building has an H-plan layout and consists of five bays. It is constructed from pink washed rubble, which is accented by contrasting painted tooled ashlar margins. The main entrance is located in the center on the south side, flanked by windows. The building features advanced flanking bays at both the front and rear, with some infilling at the rear that includes small later extensions and a later end stack. Most of the windows have 12-pane glazing, and the roof is covered with slate. The manse also has twin ridge stacks.
