Description

  1. Wide 3 arch bridge; concrete faced with bullfaced

rubble with tooled ashlar dressings. 3 segmental headed

ashlar arch rings the centre slightly wider; rounded

cutwaters carried up as giant pilasters with corbelled

heads forming semi-circular cutwaters; similar giant pilaster

end piers; crenellated parapet splayed at north, where bridge

is approached by long causeway crossing small, single span

(flood) bridge of similar build.
