Description

Dromquinna, located at 32 High Street in Fortrose, is a building dated 1836 that features two storeys and an attic. The front facing High Street is constructed of ashlar and consists of three bays, with a shop occupying the two left bays of the ground floor. The outer windows on the first floor are tripartite, and there is a moulded string course and a moulded cornice above. A large modern box dormer is present on this elevation.

The elevation facing Cathedral Square is built of rubble and also has three bays, with the centre bay advanced and featuring bowed angles. There are two later piended dormers and a modern glazed porch located at the right bay. The gable facing Union Street is harled, and the building has a slated roof with scrolled skewputts.
