Description

This is a single-storey and attic cottage, likely built around 1865 by A & W Reid of Elgin and Inverness. Constructed of rubble stone, it has three bays, with a central door. Small, gabled dormers are situated in the outer bays. The windows have four panes of glazing, and the roof is slate-covered with projecting eaves and coped end stacks. A low rubble front garden wall is topped by a simple wooden fence, with a pedestrian entrance. Undated drawings relating to the property are held amongst the Guisachan Estate plans. Further details can be found at the Moray District Record Office in Forres, reference DAWP 1232.
