Description
Macleod's House on Isle Martin is an early to mid-19th century single-storey and attic traditional Highland house featuring three bays and gabled dormers that break the wallhead. The exterior is finished with white harled masonry. The entrance elevation is symmetrical, with a centrally located door, while the west (rear) elevation has a single deep-set opening. There is a small lean-to addition on the north side.
The windows are timber sash and case with 4-pane glazing. The roof is covered with Welsh slate, and there are coped gable stacks.
Inside, the ground floor rooms are adorned with tongue and groove panelling on the walls and ceilings.
