Description
The building is a later 19th century single-storey, Picturesque hexagonal dairy with a single bay extending to the east. It stands on a shallow, stepped plinth. The walls are of sneck coursed rubble with contrasting tooled ashlar dressings. There is a door to the dairy itself and a separate door to the dairy room on the south elevation. Windows are positioned in each of the four facets of the dairy, each featuring coloured and margined glazing. A coped end stack is located on one wing, and a central apex vent is present on the dairy. A shallow piended slate roof extends to create a verandah which encircles the dairy and is supported by rustic cast-iron columns. The dairy does not appear on the first edition Ordnance Survey map of 1870.
