Description
The Walled Garden at the Old Manse in Eigg dates back to 1790, with an enlargement in 1889. The building is two stories high with an attic and features a three-bay south-facing front, flanked by single-storey, two-bay wings that project from the east and west gables, creating a continuous frontage. The exterior is harled. The central door is concealed by a square porch that has a side entrance and a piended slate roof, with later bipartite windows on either side. At the rear, there is a projecting three-storey stairwell, with a window on each floor. The building exhibits varied glazing, end stacks, and a slate roof.
The walled garden is a simple drystone structure located to the southeast of the house.
