1-2-3 Gordon Street, Nairn

1-2-3 Gordon Street in Nairn is an earlier 19th century, two-storey and attic corner building featuring classical details. It has seven bays facing Gordon Street and three bays on High Street, where the center door is now blocked. The ground floor is painted ashlar, while the first floor is dry dashed, accented by polished ashlar giant pilasters at the corners, which are channelled at the ground floor. The building has an eaves course and cornice that projects forward with decorative capitals over the four bays flanking the curved corner. The ground floor is arcaded and includes moulded keystones, with a string course below the apron panelled first floor windows. The curved corner bay features a decorative cast-iron balustrade on the first floor and attic dormer windows. There are two canted dormers and four piended dormers, along with corniced stacks and a slate roof. Additionally, there are two Provost's lamps on the first floor.
