Description
Laig Farmhouse is a late 18th to early 19th century, two-storey, three-bay house that faces east. It has a single-storey, irregular four-bay wing that extends south at a right angle, creating an L-shaped plan. The house is harled, while the wing features harl pointed rubble. The central door of the house is obscured by a later square porch that has a side entrance and a piended slate roof. The first-floor windows are small and primarily have four-pane glazing, with coped end stacks and a slate roof. The wing has an off-centre ridge stack and an asbestos tile roof. Inside, there are no notable internal features. The garden and house are enclosed by a roughly coped drystone wall.
