Description

Early 19th century. 2-storey and attic, 3-bay E facing house

with single storey and attic rear wing. Harled, tooled and

polished ashlar dressings, long and short quoins. Slightly

advanced pedimented centre bay defined by quoins; centre

door with corniced pilastered doorpiece; corniced outer

ground floor windows, which have moulded margins to all

windows in E elevation and simple margins to symmetrical

2-bay return gables; 12-pane glazing. 2 modern front dormers

and further single 2-window box dormer to rear wing. Coped

end stacks; slate roofs.

INTERIOR: 1930's panelling and chimney pieces in main public

rooms.

Rubble garden walls surround house.
