Description
58 Elliot Street in Glasgow is a tall single-storey engineering shop built around 1854. The building features 11 bays and is constructed of ashlar that has been rendered and painted, with raised margins around the windows. It has a wide central entrance that is semi-circular arched, adorned with channelled voussoirs. On either side of the entrance, there are two windows, one of which is blocked on the south side. The shop also includes four tall, narrow arched windows with cast-iron frames, small panes, and radial astragals in the arched heads. The building is topped with a slate roof and has an eaves cornice.
