Church, 10, 12 Minerva Street, Glasgow

This building is a classical tenement constructed around 1856, located at 10 and 12 Minerva Street in Glasgow. It is four stories high and features shops along Argyle Street and the northern part of Minerva Street. The structure has a curving corner section with twelve bays, highlighted by a giant Corinthian pilastrade that extends through the first and second floors, complete with an independent frieze and cornice. The ground floor is finished in polished ashlar and is channelled, with an arcaded design. The windows on the ground floor are recessed and adorned with decorative glazing bars, primarily facing Minerva Street. The western bays along Argyle Street have been largely altered, although the westernmost bay still retains an arched close entry. The fifth bay from the west on Argyle Street is blind beneath a stack. The building features sash and case windows set within architraves, with twelve-pane glazing, and the windows on the first and second floors are corniced. It also has an eaves cornice and corniced ridge stacks.
