5, 7, and 9 Corunna Street in Glasgow is a three-storey classical tenement building with a basement, designed by Alexander Kirkland in 1850. The structure features 11 by 18 bays and includes a recessed, bow tripartite corner bay. The fourth bay from the east on Argyle Street is blind glazed, as is the first bay from the north on the return at the first floor. The ground floor has been altered along Argyle Street and is finished in polished ashlar, which is channelled at the ground level.

The building has pilastered entries at the head of the stair in Corunna Street, each adorned with a projecting frieze and cornice, along with fanlights. There is a cornice at the ground floor, and all windows are sash and case set within architraves, primarily featuring 12-pane glazing. The first-floor windows have cornices and dropped architraves, with console brackets at the corners. The eaves cornice is complemented by a panelled die parapet, and the roof is slate with ridge stacks.
