35-37 Common Green in Strathaven is a mid-19th century building that stands two storeys tall and has two bays. It features painted stugged ashlar with margins. The shop front includes a central door and an additional door to the left. On the first floor, there are two 8-pane sash windows. The building has an eaves course and a cornice, with an end stack and a slate roof.
