Description

Circa 1865. 4-storey and basement tenement with Wilsonesque details; irregular window arrangements viz: 2 canted windows blank 5 inner windows in each floor, 3 additional bays with flat windows and 1 canted to W Rockfaced sandstone to basement, ashlar above, channelled at ground. Slate roof. 2 tripartite main door. Doorpieces; No 75 with simple door. Cornice over ground floor openings, string course at 1st floor level; string stepped over 1st floor windows, continuous bracket cornice over 5 inner and 2 western simple windows, rosettes between; string arched over similarly positioned windows in 2nd floor with shell heads, rosettes in spandrels; cill course to 3rd, cornice broken by window heads. Steep facetted roofs over canted windows. Good cast-iron railings to basement area.
