Description

Circa 1860. Style of Charles Wilson. 3-storey tenement, 28

x 5 bays. Polished ashlar, channelled at ground floor.

ELEVATION TO BROOMHILL TERRACE: 1st, 4th, 9th, 14th, 19th,

24th bays canted full-height with battered plinths. Ground

floor windows in pseudo-pilastrade; ground floor cornice

band. 1st floor windows with linked cornices in flat bays

with sculpted consoles and sculpted shell tympana. Main

dentil cornice. Roofs piended over canted bays with finials.

Mansard roof to NE corner with 2 segmentally pedimented

dormers.

ELEVATION TO CENTRAL AVENUE: as main elevation, canted

outer bays. Central dormer. Battered obelisk piers.
