Description

Corona Bar is a single-storey public house located at 1039 Pollokshaws Road in Langside, Glasgow. Designed by Clarke and Bell, it was built between 1912 and 1913. The building features Renaissance ornamentation and is situated on a corner site. A prominent balustraded turret with a lead dome crowns the corner of the structure. There are doorways on both elevations, each topped with a pediment. The exterior is finished in white harling, set on a red granite base, and includes acid-etched glass. The interior is top-lit and retains some original features.
