Description

The Kings Head Public House is a public house dated 1906, constructed of red brick with buff terracotta dressings and a green slate roof. It features a Scottish Baronial style with influences from Flemish and Baroque architecture. The building stands three storeys high and has five bays, with the outer two bays set forward and adorned with Dutch gables and triple windows. A circular tower with a conical turret is located at one end, with the main entrance situated beneath it. There are four additional entrances, and a segmental arch is present to the right. A carriageway is located to the left, while the centre bay is three windows wide and topped with a mutule cornice.
