Description
The War Memorial in Vicarage Garden was built in 1921 by Alfred Turner. It features a bronze figure of Peace mounted on a high Portland stone pedestal that has three steps. At the base, there is a bronze kneeling figure of a cherub positioned against a rough cross. The memorial bears the inscription 'To the Honour of Fulham's Gallant Dead' and 'They died for freedom' along with the dates 1914-1918 and 1939-1945.
