Description
The tomb of Bishop Thomas Sherlock, who died in 1761, is located close to the east wall, north of the tomb of Henry Compton in All Saints Churchyard, Fulham. This tomb, signed by John Vardy, is made of Portland stone and features two main tiers. The lower tier is a rectangular chest with pilastered sides, while the upper tier is a casket with volutes at the ends of the long sides. There is a crest at the ends and a pitched slab on top. Thomas Sherlock served as Dean of Chichester and Bishop of Bangor.
