Description

The Parish Church of All Saints is a Grade II* listed building located on Putney Bridge Approach in Fulham. The church features a tower that dates from the 14th to early 15th century, which underwent significant restoration in the late 19th century. The remainder of the church was rebuilt between 1880 and 1881 by Sir Arthur Blomfield. It is constructed of squared rubblestone with ashlar dressings and has a five-bay nave with aisles, a lower chancel, and an entrance porch on the northwest side. The west tower consists of four stages and showcases Perpendicular window tracery. Inside, the church contains notable monuments from the 16th, 17th, and 18th centuries, including the tomb of John Mordaunt, who died in 1675, crafted by John Bushnell, featuring a standing figure. The west tower and porch have heraldic glass from the 16th and 17th centuries, along with some mid and later 19th-century glass. The font dates back to 1622.
