Description

The Sir William Collins' Memorial Fountain is located in Glasgow Green, Saltmarket, Glasgow. It was erected in memory of Sir William Collins and acknowledges his contributions to the Temperance movement. The fountain features a sculptured bronze female figure created by J Mossman in 1881. This figure is positioned on a shaft that rises high from a tall granite pedestal, which includes two basins and a bronze bust of Collins.
