Description

HM Office of Works. Dated 1928, built as telephone exchange. Plain but unaltered. Rick-faced ashlar, mullioned/mullioned and transomed windows with metal astragalled small panes. Asymmetrical 2-storey 3-bay front, gable left linked to wallhead stack. Parapet conceals roof (wich is gabled and slated); Tudor-arched doorway left of centre.

Iron-railed low boundary wall also rock-faced, polished ashlar piers.
