Description
The Smithy at Mains Of Auchintoul is an early 19th century building. It is a single-storey structure with a piend roof, constructed from squared, coursed, and pinned (cherry-cocked) rubble, featuring ashlar lintels. The front has five broad openings supported by ashlar pillars, with a window located to the left. There is an ashlar coped stack on the west side, with a forge situated inside below it. The roof is covered with grey slates.
