Description

Woodside House is a mid 19th century, single storey, L-plan, 3-bay cottage located on rising ground at the head of Main Street. It was formerly used as a police station and jail. The exterior is harled with ashlar margins and a base course. The central door features a letterbox fanlight, with sash and case windows on either side that have later 4-pane glazing. There is a regrettable modern door and shutters. The roof is covered with grey slates and includes small rooflights, along with ashlar coped stacks and skews.
