Description

Probably Robert Turnbull, circa 1877. 4-storey and basement, 7-bay symmetrical fronted warehouse, with basement, in the style of Alexander Thomson. Ashlar, painted below 1st floor. Pilastered ground floor, with entrance at S, at street level, with interior stair to raised ground floor; 2-leaf panelled door with fanlight. Pilastered 1st floor windows with entablatures and acroteria. 2nd floor windows with bracketted cills, upper parts of windows with Thomsonesque lugged disc,

architraves linked to form continuous stepped band. Cornice forms cill course to 3rd floor architraved windows. Entablature and main cornice.

Plate-glass glazing pattern to sash and case windows; wrought-iron grilles to basement windows.
