Description

Grove Terrace, Dura Den, comprises a pair of mid-19th century terraced tenement blocks. The building is two storeys high, with a four-bay facade to the left and a three-bay facade to the right. It is constructed of snecked rubble with ashlar dressings, and has a gabled, rectangular shape with pantiled roofing. Corniced stacks are located at each end and in the centre. First-floor dwellings are accessed from a railed terrace at the rear. A cartshed with a segmental head is incorporated into the north wall. The building forms a group with Grove House and is depicted on the 1856 Ordnance Survey map. The statutory address is Grove Terrace, Dura Den.
