Description

Grove Terrace comprises a pair of mid-19th century terraced tenement blocks in Dura Den. The building is two storeys high, with a four-bay section to the left and a three-bay section to the right. It is constructed of snecked rubble with ashlar dressings. The roof is pantiled and gabled, with corniced end and centre stacks. The rear features a railed terrace providing access to the first-floor houses. A cartshed with a segmental head is incorporated into the north wall. The building is part of a group with Grove House and was depicted on an Ordnance Survey map of 1856. The statutory address is Grove Terrace, Dura Den.
