Description
80 High Street in Leslie is a narrow, two-storey, two-bay house that was reworked in the earlier to mid-19th century, incorporating earlier materials. It features stop-chamfering that may be from a later period. The house is adjacent to Nos. 82-88 on the west and extends back, with a triple gable on the east side. The exterior is dry-dashed with painted stone margins and includes stone mullions.
On the north elevation facing High Street, there is a deep-set door to the right and a bipartite window to the left, with regular window placement on the first floor. The east elevation showcases three gable ends, with windows located to the left of the center gable on both the ground and first floors.
The south elevation has a door on the left with an adjacent window to the right, and a window above in a flat-roofed extension to the left. There are additional windows to the right at both levels. The house mainly features a four-pane glazing pattern in sash and case windows, with modern top-opening windows on the ground floors of the east and south elevations. The roof is covered with grey slates, and there are coped ashlar skew stones on the northeast slope of the front gable, along with coped ashlar stacks, dry-dashed walls to the east, and thackstanes.
