Description
50 High Street in Leslie is an 18th-century, three-storey tenement with an irregular five-bay rectangular plan and a single-storey lean-to extension at the rear, situated within an irregular terrace. The building is harled with stone margins and features a moulded doorcase on the left, along with stone mullions and a base course.
On the north elevation facing High Street, the ground floor is symmetrical, with bays arranged in a 1-3-1 pattern. There are doors in bays two and four towards the centre, with a bipartite window between them and windows in the outer bays. The first floor has windows in bays one, four, and five, while the second floor features three smaller windows, with one at the centre flanked by irregular bays.
The south elevation has its ground floor concealed behind a lean-to conservatory extension. The first floor is symmetrical, with two windows towards the centre flanked by two larger windows, and there is no third storey visible on this side.
The north elevation has sash and case windows with a 12-pane glazing pattern, while the south elevation has a 4-pane glazing pattern. The roof is covered with grey slates, featuring crowstepped gables with a single slate row at the outer verge, and rendered and coped stacks with cans.
