Description
71 High Street in Leslie is an earlier to mid 18th century, two-storey, two-bay tenement that forms part of an irregular terrace to the west, with its gable end facing the street. The building is harled with cement-rendered margins and features an inscribed door lintel that reads "G 1768 F." There is an eaves course on the eastern side.
On the south elevation, which faces High Street, there is a door on the right with a window bay to the left, and the first floor has regular fenestration. The eastern elevation consists of three bays, with a door at the center and small windows positioned close to the eaves in the outer first floor bays.
The ground floor windows have a 12-pane glazing pattern, while the first floor windows have an 8-pane pattern, both in modern windows. The roof is covered with pantiles, featuring slate eaves easing courses and crowstepped gables.
