144 High Street, Leslie

144 High Street in Leslie is a later 18th century, two-storey, three-bay tenement that has been altered and converted into a single house. It is part of an irregular terrace and features a mix of squared and snecked rubble, along with some random rubble at the rear. The building has bull-faced outer dressings surrounding droved ashlar inner margins, and there is evidence of a base course.

The north elevation is symmetrical, with a central pend opening and windows in the flanking bays, along with regular bays on the first floor. The south elevation also has a central pend opening, with a door above that is accessed by a forestair. To the right, there is a projecting wing with a rubble outbuilding adjoining the south gable.

The windows are sash and case, featuring a 12-pane glazing pattern on the ground right and first floor, and a 4-pane glazing pattern on the ground left. There is a half-glazed timber door at the rear.

Additionally, there is a coped boundary wall made of random whinstone rubble that adjoins No 170.
