Description
St Andrews Cottage is a later 18th century single-storey cottage that was raised to two storeys in the early 19th century. It has three bays and is constructed from harled painted rubble, featuring widely droved ashlar dressings and raised margins. The cottage has rusticated quoins above a first-floor band course, a central door, and 12-pane glazing. The roof is slated with straight skews and corniced end stacks. There is one window on the south gable with an attic light. A sun fire insurance plaque is positioned above the centre window on the first floor. An outbuilding with a loft is attached to the north, and there are rubble garden walls with a mileage plaque on the southwest corner.
