Description
1-3 Commercial Road in Ladybank is a single-storey cottage from the later 19th century, featuring an additional storey plus an attic wing that projects forward at the corner with Commercial Crescent. The building is constructed of snecked masonry with ashlar dressings and has a slate roof. Notable architectural elements include gable end skews, skewputs, a finial, and a round arched attic window. Below, there is a two-light shop window. The doorway is set on a splay and is adorned with elaborate corbel treatment above it. To the right, there is a small railed garden providing access to the cottage entry.
