Description

Lochmalony House is an early to mid-18th century house, originally comprising a central two-window-gabled section. An addition to the south front was built in the late 18th century, running parallel to the original house. The house is two storeys and five windows wide, constructed of small rubble with droved dressings and a moulded eaves course. A Tuscan doorpiece features two attached columns. The roof is slated and piended, with two chimneys. The north wings are also piend-roofed and date from the same period as the southern addition. The building has been reglazed and presents a severe appearance. The east gable contains a circular attic window.
