Description

Stirton Mill is a single-storey and loft corn mill, dated 1799, with a stone set in the south gable showing this year. It is constructed of whin rubble with a pantile roof, and ashlar is visible at the site of the wheel on the south gable. A gutted kiln remains with a pyramid roof. Single-storey outbuildings are attached. The overall design is picturesque. Central and N Fife, page 17, provides further details.
