Description
This late 18th century bridge over the River Eden is constructed from rubble and features a slightly hump-backed design. The parapets are splayed out at the approaches and have plain copings. The main arch is segmental, made with droved voussoirs, and has been repaired with brick. On the west side, there is a single triangular cutwater with battered coping. Additionally, there is a stilted round arch for a flood opening located higher up on the south side.
